Rate Groups
The Rate Groups sub-section includes one rule type that allows the configuration of rate groups for occupancy surcharges.
A rate group is a rule where base rates or added fees are impacted by the number of occupants in the reservation.
The occupancy surcharge rule allows a park to charge or not charge guests based on age-groups. A pre-determined number of guests for each age group is set at no added charge on the reservation. Each additional guest in the affected age group incurs an added charge. In the example rate group below, the number of children, adults, and seniors would need to exceed 20 persons of one age group to incur an added charge.
