Base Pricing Reports

Campspot's Base Pricing is pivotal for establishing nightly rates, ensuring precise pricing, and optimizing revenue management for campgrounds. Your Admin Site employs a report generated by the system to manage rates effectively.

When searching "Base Price" on your reports page, you'll encounter multiple Base Pricing reports. Use this article to better understand which report you should use and when. You will learn how to manage rates for:

  1. Campsites (Site Types)
  2. Add-ons

💡 Quick Tip To Get Started: Differentiating Between Report Types

  • Use the Template version of these reports when you need to add new prices, update existing prices, or set rates for future dates (like next year).

  • Use the Non-template version fo these reports to view existing prices for specific date ranges.

Keeping this distinction in mind will make it easier to choose the correct report for your task.

Base Prices For Campsites

There are two report options, each serving distinct purposes:

Report 1: Base Price Template for Campsites

This report is essential for defining nightly pricing for your Site Types. 

This report supports multiple uses — from setting your initial nightly rates during onboarding, to making periodic updates as you need to change pricing or set new prices for future dates.

Report 2: Base Prices for Campsites 

This report is used to view current pricing for specified dates. This report will show rates in an individual day format rather than date ranges. Dates with a null rate will be excluded in the download.
