Getting Started with Google Tag Manager
If you're new to GTM, follow these simple steps to create your account and get started, however, if you already have a Google Tag Manager account, skip to step 2:Step 1: Create a Google Tag Manager Account
- In Tag Manager, click the Accounts tab > Create account.
- Enter an Account Name and select the country for the account.
- Enter a descriptive Container name and select the container type.
- To create your container, click Create and agree to the Terms of Service.
- Once your container is created, select Web and AMP as the container type.
Step 2: Find Your Container ID
- In Tag Manager, click Workspace.
- Near the top of the window, find and copy your container ID, formatted as "GTM-XXXXXX".
Step 3: Integrate with Campspot
- Log in to Campspot.
- Navigate to Consumer Site Admin.
- Click on the Analytics tab.
- Paste your container ID into the Google Tag Manager input field.
- Click Save Changes to complete the integration.
