Camp Credit Versus User Credit

Learn the difference between Camp Credit and User Credit and how they work as payment and refund methods.

1. Camp Credit

Camp Credit is money that exists on a Guest's profile to be used for a future stay. This money cannot be refunded directly from the Guest's profile like User Credit can.

To learn more about how to refund Camp Credit, visit this page for a step-by-step walk-through.

Guests cannot see any Camp Credit that they have and they cannot use it online as a payment method. Camp Credit can only be used as a payment method through the Admin Site by your park.

2. User Credit

User Credit is money that exists on a Guest's profile and is typically held there before it is refunded. Money in User Credit can be refunded directly from the Guest's profile. Guests cannot see any User Credit that they have and they cannot use it online as a payment method. User Credit can only be used as a payment method through the Admin Site by your park.

3. Paying With Camp or User Credit

Both Camp and User Credit can be used as payment methods through the Admin Site. When used as a payment method, any amount in Camp Credit will be combined with any amount in User Credit and the sum total of the two will be displayed alongside the User Credit payment method in the payment screen.

When a combination of Camp and User Credit is used as a payment, funds from Camp Credit will be deducted first and funds from User Credit will be deducted second
