Release Notes - December 2022

The Daily Occupancy, Arrival and Departures report was not downloading due to a timezone bug. This bug was resolved and the report is working as normal.

A new permissions based Default Account Mapping page has been released in Campground Setup > Accounting. This page allows parks to set the default Financial Accounts for new Site Types. To access this screen a park admin must update User Permissions related to Campground Setup.

Note: Setting defaults only affects new Site Types and will not change any existing Site Types.

Updates were made that help detect users' usage of the Campspot Admin site to avoid premature logouts. Users' sessions are now extended by 30 minutes when the system detects certain front end interactions including mouse movements, clicks, and key presses.

The Mailchimp Integration has launched and is available for all parks. Campspot has partnered with Mailchimp to offer an integration that makes it easier than ever to reach past, current, and future campers through email marketing efforts.

Mailchimp is a popular email marketing platform used by many campgrounds to communicate with their guests. Through this integration the manual work of importing Campspot reports into Mailchimp is eliminated. To learn more about this integration read here.
